  Just a thought... probably stupid. All my HDMI cables are HDMI1.3/1.4. Do you think getting a HDMI2.0 cable would help..?

  Tried a cable change and input change. Still the same problem. I'm finding its worse when the box/TV is first switched on (3 or 4 dropouts in 30 mins tonight) then gets better over time (1 or 2 per hour). I'll carry on trying over the weekend but I think it's going back. :(

  43UJ750V Swapped the HDMI to a different socket and unplugged/replugged in the Humax. Been watching for about an hour now and haven't noticed a drop so fingers crossed. I do more extensive testing tomorrow.

  Bizarrely, my box has just started doing the exact same thing with Motors TV (Ch.71) Other channels are fine (not tried every channel, but the main watched channels are OK) but the minute I switch to Motors TV... I get about 60 secs then it reboots. When it comes back it seems to be in a cycle...

  Luckily I spotted it doing this or else tonights recordings would have been missed. Quite a new owner so didn't realised it retuned by itself.

  Strangely, I got my GradeA from Humax last week and it looks new apart from a slight dent in the top of the case also :) Mine seems to work fine though (touch wood)

  Well I set my new box up on Sunday, after tuning I watched half an hour of BBC4HD - didn't record. Later I had the box set to record 'The Skin I Live In'. This failed with a 0min recording. So if the fix works (haven't tried yet) then it seems it does need the instant record bit.

  Brand new box setup today. Recorded 3 things now and none of them have a thumbnail image on the media list.. just the default grey image of a film cell. All the screenshots I've seen show a thumbnail of the programme recorded. Is something set up wrong?
