HDR Fox T2 - two identical boxes both with identical settings and one has recently started not returning to standby over night.
The disable-ota is set on both boxes. I ensure the box 'red ring' is black and when I notice it sometime the next day the ring is blue and the HD is running as if it...
Well, considering I normally get a very quick response from the crew here, this must be a very difficult problem. Is it really?
I did have a working RS at one time so something I have done or not done has caused the problem.
EDIT: I have uninstalled RS from one of the boxes,rebooted...
I have changed my email address, and did not get an email response. When I visit the RS web page I find this:
"Last seen: 12:00 am on Thursday, 1st January 1970"
None of the options are usable on the page.
The response to the change in settings showed the the status was active and and account...
I looked into that suggestion thanks. I have 3 links on my home screen that deal with most things in every day use but I still need the two hummy remotes somewhere handy just to turn them on. I will keep my eyes open for an old phone with builtin blaster.
The result of that is:

192.168.2.23/plugin/ir/remote.jim
In a mobile browser.

EDIT: A 'mobile remote' icon has appeared on the webif page following a reboot. I had not seen that previously.
I have the two bookmarks on my home screen which gives a 'remote' that s too long for the screen. Having to scroll is no problem of course, but I find that the Favs and Macros buttons below the remote just bring up a blank page.
I didn't select the remember details at any time and yes, when pressed 'ok' I was passed to the buttons page with the LOG IN option, so, I assumed I had to log in or that option would not be available having been replaced by a logout option.
I must be the only one in the world who...
No error message, just returns to the IP/username/password input page.
Yes it does work correctly on the box. The mobile is a Samsung Galaxy S8 with Android 8.0.0
The Access Control differences were fixed with a Webif reinstall.
EDIT: Works on both boxes. I appreciate the IP address I used is...
I am unable to login to the app using the LAN internal IP 192.168.2.xx with the username and password set in Webif 1.4.4-1.
Format used: http://192.168.2.xx/plugin/ir/m/
I have also noticed whilst checking settings that the Webif User Access Control format is different in both of my boxes...
I have that installed but having two boxes and not having read about the app, I had just tried it and didn't really do it justice. I will take a closer look thanks. Howver, I don't think my tv can be controlled via wifi but even to reduce the remotes from 4 to two would be helpful. (the sound...
I agree that the replies were nonsense
I agree that the replies were nonsense and I did try to point that out to both representatives but they were adamant.
Well, I gave this remote a try and found that of course it would control the TV using the first code supplied on the Inteset web page...
I have two HDR-FOX T2 boxes and want to use a universal remote control because of the total number of items of equipment that I have each controlled be a separate remote.
Assuming all remotes could be replaced by a universal remote, I purchased an Inteset 4-in-1 universal remote control which...
When I said, "Maybe volume and other odds and ends" I should have been more succinct. Yes, I can also do those too but without access to the guide, for me they are useless.
I also could control two boxes using modes 1 and 2 and was looking forward to using all the commands listed.
Have you...
Well, after speaking to Harmony I now know that it will only turn things on and off via Alexa. Maybe volume and other odds and ends but it is not yet possible to access the commands that can be accessed via the remote or their app. Plans to enable this are unknown so my hub will go back today.
Yes, after just 2 days I am also disappointed with it. Turning on and off the TV and Humaxes is all I have achieved so far. Changing channels and navigating them is not practicable in my case.
I was hoping that some expert user here had been able to have real control.
I intend to explore for...
