I've tried on three occasions to contact humax support at uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk but no reply. Does anyone have another email that I could try.

I have...
Simple answers
1) yes
2) no
3) no, can't see how you would engineer such a thing easily
4) easy to backup and edit sd, nearly all conversations on this board is how to do it in HD
5) You'd have to ask Sony if they support Humax HD files. I would think not. Should support SD but there again I'd...
I've just come across this device Cideko Android HD Media Player on sale in Maplin fo £80 . It's an android device with an Hdmi o/p . If you install Skifta and Vplayer on it you should be able to stream to any tv from your Hummy and of course full access to the internet. Cheaper than buying...
After months of being smug " Wmp works for me so nah - nah -na" went to watch something on my pc and no sound, video ok, audio made a gurgling sound and died. Anyway even though I have XBMC installed I wanted to know why all of a sudden WMP had given up the ghost. Didn't really find out why but...

All channels in the 800's are duplicate from another transmitter I just deleted mine. It seems the Hdr is a lot more sensitive than the 9200 plus the fact all the digital transmitter are now on full power, so you are probably picking up an adjacent area. There are many threads on here of how to...
I think the problem is we have all had different experiences with streaming. For instance I've streamed to my laptop running windows 7, with no problems from day one, other people have never got it to work and have had to use servers such as XBMC. I really can't comment on the tv streaming...

All I did was to navigate storage > network > Mediashare >videos>phone videos> all videos select video you require wait to connect up pops audio not supported click ok bit more processing video plays. Have to look into the paid version >
Imediashare, good find , camera videos ok , audio format not supported. this suggests the Hummy has not got the required audio codec shame. On the plus side works a treat on my laptop running windows 7. No I didn't want to watch camera videos BUT I DO NOW!

Some time ago I posted to say using Skifta and Vplayer you could view files on your Android device.
What I've just found out is it works the other way ie Anroid phone to Hummy.
Open Skifta select Android device as source and select unlisted player as the player.
On the hummy select network and...
Black Hole - spot on , also audio amps need quite beefy heatsinks due to power etc . these don't fit in the slim line TV's we are used to. External speakers, amps has always been the preferred option even in CRT days.
It seems to me most tv manufactures have decided that all we really want is super thin sets to hang on the wall, Why ? It's the typical marketing technique of not giving us what we need but what they think we should need, Apple are great at this as were Microsoft in the past, creating demand...
....but you are putting up with very inferior video soft, misregistration, artfacts on edges, moire patterning etc quite frankly unwatchable , sorry just don't understand your argument.
