  Yes, I know about that, but I was trying to simplify it as much as possible. And as for disabling the WPS, you'd be surprised at the number of people who don't know what that is, how to do it, or if you should do it. Hacking wifi is far too easy. Hmmmm. Beef with Apple. Sounds delicious.

  I'll add my two-pence worth. If your WiFi password is so long and complicated that it is a pain to re-enter, make it simpler and easier, whilst sticking to the numbers and letters format. I wouldn't worry too much about hackers getting your wifi password, as if they want to hack it, all they...

  Sounds like the iPad is the problem. I access it from an iPad too. You have checked that you have the WiFi switched on on the iPad and it is connected to YOUR network and not somebody else's by accident? Mine occasionally picks the wrong network and goes for a trip around the neighbour's WiFis...

  Humax did it TWICE AGAIN last night, although this time, it just refused to play, giving the same error. It continued to record ok. It seems that it only happens when it is recording 2 channels and I'm watching a recording.... Ideas?

  Mine did this last night. I was watching an HD recording from BBC1 HD and it threw up that error message. I had to power cycle it twice before it would work properly again. After the first power cycle it started acting like it had a very poor signal. It kept breaking up until it froze...
