Today while watching a programme whilst it was recording I received an on screen popup saying "Recording stopped - HDD full" (or words to that affect) and the recording status shows as "Valid/Incomplete: Disk was full" but the disk has 88GiB free space and the file system hasn't gone Read-Only...
It was broken earlier today but now RS Visual display is showing correctly, strange but good.
I was pleased that webif was working fine on both Visual display and Webif
Another way to test via the epg page would be to set up favourites lists which contain a subset of channels and see which channels cause problems on the epg pages and which don't
Also try deleting all scheduled recordings, see if that resolves problem and then reschedule one by one
It must be...
It also works for me on an Android phone though I thought they were server generated error messages rather than browser error messages so device likely to be irrelevant.
Do other RS pages work?
Does it fail with your other Humax boxes?
What recordings do you have scheduled?
Have you tried from...
Try executing in a command line window:
/mod/webif/html/settings/settings.jim
The last few lines of output should, hopefully, show where it crashes
No, it should just refresh all the code but leave settings intact
This indicates a problem with the sysmon package database which is a surprise...
Why it is occurring is another question that may require @prpr and @/df to provide suggestions, a force reinstall of the webif package might help.
Not all packages use the settings class and no all include the package name in the setting name
What does webif-error.log say (diagnostics page)?
I suspect that it will be reporting an error with the webif.db data base in which case the easiest fix is likely to be deleting the data base and he re-entering most of your webif settings
It may be possible to recover the settings but that...
you could try bypassing the tuning by copying the databases from a previuously working setup
but it would probably then start failing with a similar error when attempting to read the epg and/or recording stream
Would it perhaps have worked if restored early in bootup prior to start of humaxtv as suggested in #6
I still have hopes that we can automate recovery from a Wizard event!
Post-boot the webif is active and a package could detect that the wizard is in progress by checking the VFD for the WIZARD...
Very possible - I guess setup.db, freq.db and channel.db would be the key databases.
I have wondered if forcing WIZARD_CMPLTD to 1 in the bootsettings package would avoid some occurences of the Wizard but not if there was a problem with the data base integrity.
An alternative might be an...
