      Remote Control on its way out?

      It's behaving as if the batteries are flat. Even with new batteries. Takes several button presses to achieve any command. Is there a recommended site where I might buy a new one?

      Password Picking Policy

      I read somewhere that you shouldn't put the site name in your password. For example 456hummy322 Which got me thinking. If I changed that password to 456-8543hummy322rrrr Would the hummy part be encrypted to the same characters? (obviously, using the same encryption on the same site)

      It Speaks Volumes but the Point is Mute.

      The Volume and Mute buttons on my remote do not work. The PVR button lights up in red as I press these buttons, as it does for the buttons that do work. Have I accidentally hit a setting to cause this? Any advice welcomed.

      My HDR T2 is still recording last night's MOTD2. There appear to be no options to cancel the recording available via the standard UI. Is there an alternative to a harsh power down using the rear switch? Any help gratefully received.
