Your reply only serves to reinforce what I have already concluded about you, as I have said before you do not have to answer any of my questions, don't even read them, I will not be loosing any sleep waiting for your answers, my advice is get a life! and grow up.
Clearly the problem is much more serious and nobody understands it let alone how to solve it, so I will keep a recording in the schedule at all times and go from there.
Yes mother I stand punished, stop talking to people in that condescending voice, if you don't wish to be helpful then don't be but stop behaving like a child, I will ask what ever question I like on this public forum, and as I said earlier, if you don't want to answer then don't do I can tell...
Thanks BH, I have does this and although this fix , well, fixes things it appears it is only a temporary fix, could this problem be related to the appearance of the 'WIZARD' message, is there anything else that may be tried in addition to running 'fix-flash-packages'?. Thanks
I am constantly having problems with RTS, it keeps appearing and disappearing from the advanced settings menu, every time I schedule a recording I need to reboot the unit, at this time the RTS feature reappears, when I turn the unit on later it is not listed, what on Earth is going on , is...
Thank you guys once more, so therefore what should be my first point of action?, do I run the system flash software and if so what preparation needs to be done before doing so, any clues very much appreciated.
Yet again I turn on the unit to be greeted by the 'WIZARD' message on the display, this is becoming increasingly frustrating and I gather it is rather a common problem, what is going on?
Thanks for your reply I am now better informed and more confident to try tackle this problem luckily I as a matter of routine transfer all my important recordings to a separate HDD just in case, so if things go wrong...., thank you all again.
Thanks again, yes I did read it but didn't understand it and still don't understand some of the details but certainly appeciate your detailed explanation, would you say that routine running of fixdisk might not be a good idea just in case this kind of error occurs.
Thanks for the suggestion I will have a go at it, I do in fact run a Linux laptop so let's see what happens, also could you possibly say what does the listed error actually mean, does it mean that the system is ran short of inode space?
Thanks for the reply, I am aware of this suggestion but have not applied it for I am not an expert and would not wish to make matters worse. I will wait to see what the boffins have to say firstly, thanks again.
Hi,
A routine run of fixDisk resulted in an error which is this, Error storing directory block information (inode=6754201, block=0), as such the HDD was not displaying the expected memory and would not format, does anyone have any ideas what is going on?.
Interesting that not a single word appears about British colonial history and it's disastrous effects on so many former colonies, e.g. Cyprus, Palestine Northern Ireland, India/Pakistan the list is too long for comfort.
I have tried your suggestions, but not only does it not work but I now have lost Real Time scheduling completely,it is not displayed in the Advanced Settings, what is going on?.
Hi,I am getting a request for reboot every time I schedule a programme to record!. Is this a setting error that needs adjusting, how does RTS setting affects this?.
