Interesting! I just changed BBC1 SD back to channel 1 (Used to be BBC 1 HD) and my series links have magically fixed themselves and picked up future schedules without any issues. Strange this is happening now, I've had it working fine on BBC1 HD for nearly a decade now.
While I don't like BBC1...
Turned on the box again yesterday:
1. Tonight programme (ITV) is shown without a date or time in schedule.
2. Without deleting the dead schedule, I manually schedule the next Tonight programme airing on Thursday. Humax complains about a recording conflict (there isn't one), I cancelled out of...
These issues sound very much like what some other users (including me) have posted on mike_m's thread (https://hummy.tv/forum/threads/schedule-list-shows-programmes-already-recorded.10474/) regarding the schedule not picking up any future recordings, despite being there in the EPG. It appears to...
No, Traffic Cops on Ch5 became a casualty too. Just now I wiped all of Sunday's unscheduled programmes, re-added them, and then noticed my existing panorama and traffic cops schedule for Monday now shows up with a date and time, although its also telling me it needs to record yesterday's...
Earlier in the thread I mentioned I was running fixdisk and would do Clear persistent EPG data. Having done both of those the box goes into standby fine but series link after a few days is still very broken. I'm going to have to babysit and manually schedule any future recordings. This is how it...
I'm also having the same issue with old schedules showing in the schedule, for a week or two now. I suspect this is also keeping my box in half-awake (blue ring) mode all the time and it's failing to series link some future schedules, such as partial Eastenders BBC1 (e.g. tues and thurs but not...
Thanks, I connected a spare HDD to a usb adapter to try it out and can see it show up in WebIf too which is nice, I won't have to use that awkward humax UI to copy everything
Planning to upgrade to a bigger hard drive (new ST2000VM003 on the way) and have searched the forum for backup transfer methods but came across a lot of vague threads. One of those is ftp transfer, but the humax has very slow 100mbit (10MB/sec transfer) so this would take too long. Plus I'm not...
The OK button on my PVR supplied remote has started to wear out, I have to press down with a bit of force

The button shapes are slightly different from the genuine remote, I am...
I ran a Fix Disk just to see if there was anything wrong with the HDD, my Humax is going on 4-5 years now with the original HDD
I attached the log, it shows quite a few illegal blocks and unattached inodes. Is it anything to be concerned about? Because of the fixes made should I expect any...
I think I've had this issue for a year now... I visited web-if again today (not visited for 3 months or so) and updated a bunch of new packages including the new web-if 1.4. After refreshing the web interface it resulted in a connection refused:
This site can’t be reached
192.168.1.13 refused...
Would be good if someone else chimes in with identical symptoms, seems like it's only just me at the moment. Can't find anything similar on Google either.
Same here as well, seeing end of programmes cut off early on Channel 4 HD mostly when using AR.
Did briefly try padding but it's not that good either, especially when you want to record two programmes one after the other on the same channel. Programme #1 gets cut off early so that the padding...
Here we go:
Try following the subtitles on that, difficult isn't it? Text keeps shifting so much it's annoying, this never happened on Sky.
edit: Linking from my Dropbox instead, vid on youtube got blocked quick. https://dl.dropbox.com/u/12843960/VID_20120726_161536.m4v
I'll see if I can record on my phone part of the Team GB football match tomorrow to better demonstrate this, might even send it to Humax to see if it warrants an RMA if it's actually a box fault.
