No, I didn't say "just now" on purpose as I created it before I got the Aura. Maybe I shouldn't of said "just".
I created it because my other gmail was a business one.
It seems it was because I hadn't signed in for a while, I signed in on pc and got the captcha and then it was fine on the Aura...
Thanks for the reply's. I just created a new account for the Aura I'm sure I activated it but i'll check it out and send a couple of emails back and forth from it.
Cheers
We have been using the Aura for a couple of weeks now, getting used to the control and menu's (previous box was HDR-Fox)
I have trouble when trying to sign in to google account and it brings up the captcha pictures, I can't move to select the appropriate pictures.
All that works is OK which...
I managed to find the time to fit the replacement splitter and all works as planned, we can see same output in living room and kitchen at same time from the Aura or the HDR-Fox. That keeps my wife happy.
Wait till she starts to use the Aura and remote, slightly different layout and use. But she...
Pardon? :o_O:. I won't pretend to understand most of what you said. All I know, or think I know is you give the splitter a source and a 5V supply and you then get 2 identical outputs to plug into projectors, monitors or tv's etc. Another one (different make from previous one) is arriving...
Instead of multi quoting I will answer all here.
The setup is exactly as per drawing, there is really no change in connections for the HDR Fox except the RCA going through the manual switch and the HDR Fox is still working fine.
The reason I connected it all as per drawing instead of connecting...
I went with yours as that was my thinking also.
That's not very helpful, I thought this forum was to help people.
The splitter isn't wired backwords and it's not acting as a switch. I suggest you have a quick look at my original post in the link I provided and if you look at post 32 by MikeSh...
That would be the easy way for you experts but as a novice and one that just wanted to try it the way it was going to be set up and positioned as it isn't that complicated. Also it isn't an HDMI switch it's just a splitter as per drawing from my post from the link.
I don't know why I said...

I have received my Aura, it had been out of stock everywhere until 19th March. I have installed the Aura and connected it to the HDR-FOX T2 through the HDMI Splitter.
I have taken the RF connection...
Yeah it was your original idea. There are RCA switches for a few quid.
I'll have a think and plan it out. I'll post how I eventually get on. It's for some time in near future.
As the kitchen TV doesn't have any smart capability or a ethernet port, it's just a small 18"er. I think the cables with splitter and converter etc, is the best bet and cheapest, i'll probably go for that option. Thanks for all comments.
I don't need to cast to both TVs just the kitchen one as the lounge one will be connected to both boxes. The rest of your reply is correct, that is exactly what we want.
I just have. I had actually did a live chat to a guy on the Hummy website about 2 weeks ago when I saw the Aura and he said that the built in Chromecast only works to receive a signal not transmit, so you can send a movie etc from a phone/tablet to your main TV.
