I am trying to view recordings via SMB using VLC on my FireTV Stick. However, I am being asked to enter a username and password. I thought that it was humax and 0000 but that is not the case. I don’t recall changing the details in the past. I have the beta version of Samba 3 installed. Help please.
I know it is easy to scorn Humax, but at least they are actively working on a solution and keeping you informed. I would give them the benefit of the doubt in this situation. Easy for me to say as I am not experiencing any reception issues.
Yep. I have been using Tailscale for ages. It runs on my pfSense unit with exit node enabled. I previously used WireGuard which I have configured on my pfSense unit but find Tailscale more beneficial.
I have two managed switches at home. As prpr states, the each have their own MAC address that is used to 'manage them'. I do not have to power cycle them if I move a connected device to another port on the same switch.
I am throwing my hat into the ring here too. Since updating both my active boxes to the latest beta, I too have a 60-120 second delay. It is the same on both HDRs.
A very interesting recording. One of the things I took away from this is how manual the whole operation was. Unpacking LP's, moving cartridges and that is addition to the equipment used. Compared to todays 'solid state' affair. The skill of the DJ, I think, was underrated.
I shouldn't really joke about it really. SWMBO has been clinically diagnosed with OCD and have to say it is exceedingly difficult to live with. For the both of us.

Thanks again. It prompted me to undertake some housekeeping. Historically I have just let tunefix to do its thing. So, to satisfy my OCD, I have done a full tune and amended my tunefix configuration to perform a channel cull.
