I'd like to be able to stream to my new Samsung Bluray player, but it seems that there is something funny in the Samsung DLNA implementation. There's a patch here that will hopefully fix it from the MediaTomb end, but I think it needs to be applied pre-compile...- welf

Yeah that's what I was thinking of. As Black Hole suggests I think some prediction of key presses would be required, but as the system should know the names of everything in all the folders I think it should be possible? Again I was thinking about having a cron job reboot the HD into HDR mode...- welf

[portal-xtra1] Custom TV Portal Alternative
Just recently got round to updating HD. Earlier in this thread there seemed to be a suggestion that Facebook was working through the portal. Unfortunately not for me, selecting either that or twitter dump me out to the original Humax portal. Is there something I need to edit to get them working?- welf

Thanks for the fix af123, the emails seem to have reduced, and I've made the change to the auto search you suggest. Although I would have thought that each separate search would be ORed together in that manner prior to searching anyway? But then I'm not sure how the whole process works so...- welf

Just started using the auto feature in remote scheduling and my search term is pulling up something correct, but which conflicts with a recording I've already set. It is therefore sending me an email about the conflict. This is great but it seems to be resending the same email every hour. I'd...- welf

The settings script throws up a load of html (so is presumably fine). My mongoose config is similar, but doesn't have ,/plugin=/mod/var/mongoose/plugin on the end of the document_root, or num_threads 10- welf

Just a thought (/feature request) for something that I would use a lot... Would it be possible to perform video format conversion on the box? What I'd ideally like to be able to do is copy video straight from the box to my iphone in the correct format (+ associated reduced file size). It would...- welf
