I knew that, but it only affected me while a recording is in progress. I just changed the sync time so it didn't clash. I don't use any of the background daemons (sweeper, etc) so haven't tested what effect it would have.
I don't really deal with HD recordings, I find they take too much space...
Yeah, coming to think about it I meant to go 'up' and then chmod the downloader directory - but forgot that bit. Oh well, a single dot returns the same result. Thanks for the info.
Hello,
Humax Downloader is an app that automatically synchronises recent recordings from a Humax HDR-FOX and downloads them to Android devices. I built it for personal use but then realised there's no harm in releasing it.
Requirements:
A Humax HDR-FOX (with DLNA enabled)
Python installed on...
Hello all,
Recently I've been toying around with the idea of creating some automated downloader for my Android phone. So far I've cobbled together a Python script (due to a lack of good understanding of TCL/Jim) to find the 5 most recent recordings in a folder and spit out the name, synopsis...
Sorry to but in here, but what app are you using to play Humax DLNA streams on your iPad? I've tried many apps but they couldn't play the file type properly.
DLNA controls are funny at the best of times when streaming off of the Humax. The only time I have ever had success being able to forward and rewind was using MX Player for my Android tablet. Even VLC (known to play almost anything) can't detect how long my programme is!
Wouldn't checking if the undelete binary exists on the filesystem be more efficient than relying on opkg? Just a mere suggestion, I don't know jim at all well...
