     German TV Portal

     Could it be the country and/or operator setting has changed - in the hidden settings menu Menu > Settings > System > System Information > Red > Green > Yellow > Blue > Green > Yellow > Blue Should be: Country = England, Operator = BBC

     HDMI problem with Sony TV

     Have you tried setting "Control for HDMI" (in 'HDMI Setup') to off on the TV - Sony's HDMI controls are not generally compatible with other manufacturer's euipment.

     HDR Fox T2 Wireless Dongle

     Useful, especially as the Edimax EW-7711Uxn range includes versions with a high gain fixed (EW-7711UAn) or detachable (EW-7711USn) external antenna.

     1.02.07 New Features

     IIRC only BBC and CH4 broadcast the data required for trailer booking to work. SMS style text entry is now available when entering searches etc. Deletion of programs is now performed in the background.

     Bit of Portal News

     Sky Player seems to have been dropped from the portal page - still shows "Portal Beta" v2.01 though.

     Beta testing

     For me the frustration isn't the delay of the portal (although that would be nice to have), it's that the other updates being rolled into this release are also being delayed. Things like hopefully a fix for some of the remaining HDMI issues, the DD5.1 drop-outs and new features that were hinted...

     BBC iPlayer status?

     Don't see why they should limit the amount buffered, as by using the iPlayer Desktop application you can download whole episodes for viewing later.

     Re: Missing channels / Poor reception Do you mean by this that the TV doesn't pick up these channels when connected via the RF loop through from the Humax? If thats the case with the box powered on (or standby power-save disabled) then the box is most likely faulty. What signal strength does...
