Sorry prpr. I actually just re-scanned the box to just make sure it was up-to-date and no other changes had been missed.
If weird things happen again can you just clarify what files I should look at i.e. what logs tunefix has been updated and what logs the output from the tunefix update when it...
No dec icon. Like you say I have got confused. I thought that as I could download and play HD recordings on my PC they were decrypted, but it seems it is the act of downloading and the DLNA server that decrypts it.
What package do I install to do the decryption? The wiki mentions auto-decrypt...
Recordings are decrypted (does that automatically with the auto-unprotect package) and I don't have detectads installed.
I also installed undelete and tidyfolders at the same time and those are working fine.
I noticed that there is a queue section which just seems to scan media every 10...
Installed this package today but doesn't seem to be working. Left the unit powered up and done three recordings and none have a thumbnail (first one finished over four hours ago).
Tried the genthumbs diagnostic which scanned all the directories but still no thumbnails generated.
Any ideas?

I'll have a read later. Wonder why forum search did not pick it up?
The HD only has a small USB (128Mb I think) to hold the custom firmware and we have no need to use the scheduling features so in my case copying just the channel.db using SSH (and issuing a rebooting) appears to work absolutely fine. Whether I have just been lucky or its because I don't use it...
Our HDR gets fairly regular usage, the HD in a spare room does not and only gets switched on perhaps once a month. Normally I take the opportunity to copy the latest up-to-date channel database from the HDR to HD using SSH and recently knocked up the following simple script to make my life...
Thanks guys.
I haven't tried your suggestions but I have had a new NAS drive to replace a failed one and it has a DLNA server that uses Twonky. And I installed it on Sunday - coincidence I think not.
I'll install the filter package and hopefully that will cure it.
So, since Sunday I have noticed that every time I bring the box out of standby it will be up for a minute or so and then reboot. Here's my crash log:
Humax crashed at Wed Jan 11 23:51:55 UTC 2017 - Uptime: 70

Thanks for replying. I found a thread on DS about the 9300 which has the same problem but there was an interesting post which claimed that it was noted that the cooling fan was not operating and after replacing the fan it fixed the problem...
No complaints from me. I should have clarified I was talking about the T2 regarding the sweeper package.
I should also correct myself earlier when I said I had not got sweeper installed; in fact I do but the only rule I have setup or need is the one that handles folder and media renaming to...
A relatives 9150 has also started doing a similar thing although they leave there's powered on it forgets the schedule if it is in standby for anything more than a few minutes. Would be interested to know if the OP ever found a battery or figured out what was wrong with it?
I always plan in advance to ensure that at least a couple of reboots occurs before the recording is due as I don't like forcing manual reboots from the web interface.
Point taken about the interaction between the scheduled events and media folders; I suppose the sweeper package can be used to...
It's handy to have it a little more in your face. Don't worry if you don't have time or it gets pushed down the priorities list I just thought there would be no harm in asking.
I set a couple of series links up at the same time and even though I swear I changed the folder location on both it...
As Raydon says it has a similar rename facility via the schedule but additionally if you rename an existing folder (from the media browser) for a series that you currently have recordings for it will automatically update the corresponding series link entry and vice-versa if you update the series...
Managed to work out how to screen grab on Android. Here is my FOX T2 schedule.
As you can see that if the name of the programme differs from the series link folder name then it displays the folder name in brackets.
