My Humax reset randomly twice over the last 3 weeks. Cannot understand why as I have all the packages to stop a re-tune and there are no further OTA updates expected.
I have used the network share package successfully for many years. However, it has stopped working recently. I can still use the WakeOnLAN feature to boot my NAS but it is unable to connect to the share. The strange thing is I am able to connect to the NAS from other devices (Android TV box...
Still not change. Any experts out there can advise on best thing to do? Can I just install 3.13 over the top and get the firmware to download the web interface a fresh?
Not sure which version of the Web Interface I am on. I am using custom firmware 3.13. I can only see the top banner including the current storage status pie chart. Nothing else loads. Is there a way to restart the web service from the command line.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Yes I did get it back working again. However when I first got into maintenance mode successfully, I was unable to run the fixdisk diagnostic because the hard drive was still mounted. I thought part of going into maintenance mode was to un-mount the drive. The output from the Humax was frozen but...
Sorry to reopen an old thread but having the same problem. Rebooted my box a few times. Had the 51% Maintenance Mode issue twice then rebooted back to normal mode but had to reboot again to get the clock corrected. Any suggestions? Was this resolved by anybody else?
The telnet command returns no response. On the Web If itself the response is
Package webif (2.87) installed in root is up to date.
However still showing old version in settings - attempted a reboot but still no change!
On my box, I see the upgrade for the Web If and it appears to install but when checking the version number in Settings it is set to 2.76. Is there a way to force upgrade to the latest version? Perhaps via telnet session.
The web-if upgrade remains in the upgrades available page.
Thanks
Ran the fix-disk - it seems to have half worked. Read errors were found but unable to fix and then the fix-disk process just dropped out after over 3 hours.
The WebIf is back but only the top back - cannot see the icon for remote or packages. Do I need to start again and re-install custom...
Just to close this thread off - the issue was not the Humax at all but all HDMI inputs on my Television - all fixed and resolved.
Thanks for your help troubleshooting Black Hole!
Thanks for your response Black Hole. The issue here, is there is no signal from the Humax HDR to the television. The Humax appears to be running correctly, recording correctly in terms of what I can see onthe Web Interface. So the box itself is picking up a Freeview signal from the aerial.
I...
Came home this evening, switched on the HDR-Fox-T2 as normal and surprised to see no signal on the TV. Changed the HDMI cable but still the same problem.
Go on laptop to check web interface is running. It is but it asks me to acknowledge a "blank" update. E.g. No information about what has been...
