5 minute lock up

Hi,

Whenever I press the 'Wide' button the hummy locks up for 5 minutes. This has just started recently and also happens on some of the system menus. Could it be a file corruption?

I was thinking of doing a factory reset and reinstall of the custom firmware. Do I need to uninstall the firmware first and is it possible to backup timers etc beforehand?

Firmware is 1.02.29
Custom Firmware is 2.14 (was 2.12 now 21.4, still hangs)
 
That's interesting, my HD-FOX locks up for a while whenever I go into the Internet settings.

A factory default will not do anything to the custom firmware, no need to uninstall/reinstall. It will force you to retune though (which means reinstating the recording schedule afterwards), and your schedule is automatically backed up by the WebIF and can be reinstated from there. All your Humax settings will also need to be restored, so make a note.
