500 Internal Error problem

Hi - don't know if anyone can help me. I'm trying to backup/restore scheduled recordings before I scan for new channels and I'm continually getting a 500 Internal Server Error page. I've tried different browsers but still no luck. Does anybody have any ideas please?

Anything in webif or webif-error logs?
Is failure on the backup or restore - I was able to backup without problem, haven't tried to restore
 
I'm a bit of a novice but the webif log is telling me the following:
response.c.638) file not found ... or so: Input/output error /backup/index.jim ->
There is nothing the webif error log
 
That looks like a problem with the hard disk. I recommend you run fix disk from maintenance mode.
 
Ok. That errors gone and now it's telling me '404 - Not Found' Is there anyway to go back to an older Web IF as I seemed to be able to back up about a year ago with no problems? :(

I would try reinstalling the WebIf:
