A newcomer looking for a little confirmation

Hi everyone,

I'm thinking of taking the plunge into Humax land by picking up a used HDR 2000T but first, I just wanted to confirm that I'll be able to use Foxy to extract HD recordings so that I can watch them on other devices.

Just to update, my 2000T arrived yesterday and by reading through the guides in the links provided, I've been able to export my HiDef recordings to my Mac - with great ease. All in all, I'm very happy and glad that I joined this forum and took the plunge into Humax land.

(I've got some wider questions about 2000T functionality, should I post them in the relevant section rather than here?)
