Filezilla is the easiest way to copy recordings to a PC if you install a FTP package. You only need to copy the .ts files. The sidecar files do nothing on a PC. The recordings can be edited using Video Redo TV Suite V5 (eg remove ads).
If you install a DLNA server package you can view them directly using a G2 Freesat+box (eg Humax HDR-1000S). The picture quality of HD is actually much improved when viewed this way.
You will also need Raydons convert files package to get the right audio track when streaming HD recordings.
Filezilla settings
Host - Your Foxsat Ip address
Login Normal Humax ftp pass 0000
