Android file "rights"

I've noticed using FTP to access an Aura (V9 software) that there are strange (to me) items in the "rights" list. I'm assuming that for bog-standard Linux they might read: "-rw-r--r-- ", with "d" as the first item if it is a directory. The Aura is showing most recordings and files I've uploaded as just "r".
Makes sense for recordings as they can't be deleted by FTP. But the files I've uploaded (into the Movies directory) can be deleted using FTP, but not using the Aura UI.
The containing directory for most items has rights listed as "el". Eh? Then there are a couple of Upload directories that, in effect, process the uploading file before storing the contents elsewhere. Their rights are listed as "elfpcm".
I cannot obtain the file protection information using a file management app on the Aura. Neither FTP nor the file manager will tell me the owner of the files.
Are "el" and "elfpcm" known rights or is it some Humax invention indicating a hidden access control list (or similar)?

If an Android app (like a file manager, backup tool, or FileZilla/Termux) lists a remote folder, the raw permission string Perm=elfpcm signifies the following access rights: [1]

e (execute): You can enter the directory.
l (list): You can list the files inside the directory.
f (find): You can search or locate files.
p (permission): You can modify or change permissions.
c (create): You can create new files or folders.
m (modify): You can delete or move items.
