Already have, regardless. A multitude of other problems stem from this one thing and it's (way beyond) time to get really tough. We would lose control of our borders

We were not part of Schengen and we would continue to not be if we rejoined the EU. And illegal immigration is now a bigger problem than when we were in the EU, because as part of the EU we had the right to automatically return illegal immigrants to other EU states they had come from. This is why the small boats problem has got huge since we left the EU, Boris didn't negotiate right of return as part of our exit treaty. Civil servants did warn him what could happen, but he went for the Rwanda scheme instead as a deterrent.Alright, we would lose even the potential to have control over our borders (and the ability to come out of the "human rights" stuff).
Which started working as a deterrent way before being signed into law. Then came the idiot who "smashed the gangs"but he went for the Rwanda scheme instead as a deterrent.
My understanding is the Rwanda scheme did not work as a deterrent at all. On top of that it was a) immoral and b) illegal as it turned out.Which started working as a deterrent way before being signed into law. Then came the idiot who "smashed the gangs"
No one seems to care about the illegal acts the hordes of boat people commit. They can do what they like, but everyone else has to obey the law? Something wrong here.My understanding is the Rwanda scheme did not work as a deterrent at all. On top of that it was a) immoral and b) illegal as it turned out.
Before it was invented? If only the (other) idiots had fixed on something like USB-C originally ...
I don't hold with morality meaning we have to treat others as we would ourselves, when the "others" in question have no such qualms and belong to different ethnic groups. "Civil" society has forgotten we are in a competition for resources, not a collaboration, and "civil society" will be our downfall.it would be completely immoral
