Another Failed Recording.

Now this has been bugging me for a few months, and I am not sure what to do about it. My recordings are hit and miss, I get an email from the RSS telling me which recordings have failed (I like that its a very good system)

This was my latest :-
At least one failed recording has been detected in your
media library. The following recording(s) failed:

/BBC News/BBC News at Ten_20150811_2200
/Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends/Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends_20150808_2200
/America's Dark Secrets___/America's Dark Secrets____20150820_0100
/America's Dark Secrets___/America's Dark Secrets____20150818_0100
/America's Dark Secrets___/America's Dark Secrets____20150821_0100

When I go look all I find is a file with a .hmt
eg Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends_20150808_2200.hmt (12 KiB)

I delete that file and all is good, I do not get my recording though. I would like to know how to trouble shoot this problem and fix it.

Can anyone help me with this issue

The first thing you should do is to make sure that you are only tuned to 1 transmitter. The HDR-FOXT2 will fail if it is looking at the wrong tranmiter for he start of the programme.

As you have the custom firmware installed you could also check the channels on the web-if to make sure that you tuning is OK, once you have looked up from what frequencies they should be from.

Thanks - thats a good start for me, I will have a go and get back. Might be a few days as I work long hrs.
