App for downloading attachments in Android

We have an Android Kit Kat tablet and are unable to open attachments from our T/T mail account. (we are not using the gmail app).
Any recommendations as to what app we should get to open jpeg and pdfs? Preferably free!

Thanks Trev, now done that. I'm looking at Photo Gallery for jpegs. Anyone else have a view?

Most Android devices come supplied with a photo viewer of some kind, my phone came with 'Gallery', you could add a free App. like Quick Pic by Q-Supreme Team

As Ezra says there will almost certainly be a default app, but I use QuickPic for photos.

Thanks gentlemen. Have now discovered how to open the jpeg, it just wasn't intuitive. Quik Pic looks good.
