OK Einstein, have it your way. But, isn't that the sole purpose of a PVR - to go back in time - otherwise you'd be watching it live?

I have added some stuff to the WiKi here :-OK, I went ahead and built it . . .
I'd prefer Ein Stein.OK Einstein, have it your way.
Yes, but I meant things which aren't other program service related PIDs e.g the NIT.If it didn't wouldn't you be recording the whole multiplex when you just wanted BBC1?
OK. Did that and it worked, but pretty sure I didn't have to do that before (BICBW).You need to temporarily turn off Adblock Plus for ezfile.ch
Relative to what though? 30 bits and a 27MHz clock doesn't count many seconds.Since these are arrival timestamps of when the Humax received the packet

Sorry. I did know what you meant! It was a sort of rhetorical comment after your reply to Black Hole at #29. My assumption was, from BH's comment, that "broadcast stream unaltered" could be interpreted (by an idiot like me at least) as meaning the multiplex! I'm sure no-one here (including me) would make that mistake.Yes, but I meant things which aren't other program service related PIDs e.g the NIT.
My Hauppauge USB dongle will do this for one DVB-T multiplex. I just haven't got the disk space to cope with the output. Somebody somewhere must have the ability to record everything - but why? That would be nice; with sufficient recording bandwidth the entire mux could be recorded continuously, and then you would only need six of them to record EVERYTHING. I'm sure there are some installations which do that.
Six? Bit out of date aren't you?with sufficient recording bandwidth the entire mux could be recorded continuously, and then you would only need six of them to record EVERYTHING.
