Only if warm! How about baked bean sandwiches?
I'm talking in general rather than in particular...I am surprised you advanced from breast feeding.
Is it? Perhaps to you, not necessarily to everyone. Do you believe every adage to be universal truth? It's overdue you understood that no individual is an exemplum of "normality".Variety is indeed the spice of life
I thought I had a frequent bus service near me at every 20 minutes but every 2 minutesCatch an earlier bus, get to work earlier and do more productive work before other people arrive.
It's overdue you understood that there are other colours apart from beige. Anyway it is your loss so of no concern to me.It's overdue you understood that no individual is an exemplum of "normality".
Two buses to get from home to work. As the University is next to a very large teaching hospital buses are quite often full. Combine that with school kids moving across the city and past the university/hospital and the odd few minutes can easily make a half hour differenceI thought I had a frequent bus service near me at every 20 minutes but every 2 minutesthough I am not sure how much extra work you will get done.
Crumbs! You mean you can remember eating before the war?Post-war, I was brought up to eat what was put in front of me
That late? Gives me indigestion!Usually it gets to 8 or 9pm and I make do with what I can find in the freezer.
How you want to spend your time is your choice,
I realise you're having a quip, but I mean it was in the decades where parents still had the habits of scarcity (and there were still price controls, no discounts – supermarkets competed on who could offer more Green Shield Stamps). You mean you can remember eating before the war?
That's as may be, but I get absorbed in something and...That late? Gives me indigestion!
I'm generally not asleep until gone 1, and awake before 6. Whether I get up or stay in bed depends what's going on at the time, and whether it can be done using my iPad (most of my admin can).Early to bed, early to rise is my usual behaviour - not so much out of choice but tired early and can't manage a long sleep.
Of what a shame my father worked at a garage that issued Green Shield Stamps. We did seem to fill the books up rather quickly.Green Shield Stamps
Can't say I'm committed to one supermarket. I have loyalty cards for all those I use that have them. I use them mainly for the "instant" savings. If they give points then I'll consider that as well. Argos give Nectar points - eventually, so that's helpful. If you collect Nectar points you are effectively still collecting Green Shield Stamps. Ironic.
Tesco used to give Green Shield Stamps, and the Co-op used to give Co-op Stamps, but who used to give Blue Chip Stamps?Of what a shame my father worked at a garage that issued Green Shield Stamps. We did seem to fill the books up rather quickly.Perhaps it was just petrol usage and the trips to whichever supermarket issued them. (I thought it was Fine Fare, but that appears not to be the case)
I can remember an independent petrol station on the A46 between the A606 junction and Leicester that used to give blue stamps - probably Blue Chip. Never saw them anywhere else.but who used to give Blue Chip Stamps
I like to shop at Tesco because I can use Club card points for travelling on the Chunnel on my trips to Europe. Can't say I'm committed to one supermarket.
