Audio dropouts - PBS America ?

Anyone else getting split second audio dropouts every few minutes on PBS America ?

May be on other channels too but PBS is the only channel I watch that I noticed it on.

Bizarrely.. I only seem to get it on Live TV. Haven't noticed it on any recordings.
 
I have suffered short audio drop outs on all channels ever since getting my LG Smart TV several years ago.
No solution has ever been found - it was put down to problems in the HDMI handshaking with the Humax.

I haven't noticed as many recently but that could be because I am so used to to ignoring and my ears are getting older
 
Yeah I bought an LG TV a few years ago and suffered it on all channels. So I sent the TV back.

This issue seems recent and channel specific.
 
You could test whether the problem is with the broadcast by using an analogue connection – assuming your TV has analogue inputs.
 
I have audio dropouts on play back, and I think it is only on PBS recordings. I never watch PBS live.
I don't recall it happening on recordings from other channels.
It can't be HDMI as the culprit on mine as mine plays through a SCART connection, so analogue.
