Aura app not populating the Programme Guide

I'm currently on holiday in Australia and the app has stopped populating the guide. It was working for a few days and I was able to set up some recordings. But last week the guide became progressively empty as the days went on. Now we have started a new week and the guide is completely blank, so I cannot set any more programmes for the Christmas period. The guide is also blank on MyHumax.net but I suppose that's because my MyHumax.net account picks up that information from my Aura?
Unless someone has any suggestions, I suppose I'm stuffed.

The HDR-FOX has (or had) several "features" whereby the EPG data becomes stale if the unit is only recording from standby, or if it is permanently on and stuck on one service. It seems possible the Aura has similar peculiarities.

It's possible the Aura has that peculiarity among many. One might hope that the EPG could be updated from the internet even when in standby mode (well maybe it would come out of standby automatically, update the EPG and go back to sleep) but I don't think it does. Mine doesn't because the internet connection is only there when I want it. I usually get the Aura to turn on every day (05:15 BBC1) and then switch to channel 250 after about an hour. That is because I've had fun with rebooting when coming out of standby for recordings/viewing. Under normal circumstances the Aura should go into standby after two hours (I think). This keeps my EPG full - unless the broadcasters are playing silly sods!

Unless there is a remote way to set manual recording timers (I don't know of any) and you can find the schedule elsewhere you are stuffed!

Am I right in thinking the aura app can be used to schedule a recording?
If so, then can you use it to schedule a manual recording - without relying on a specific epg entry?
If so maybe set a manual reminder or recording on, say, BBC1 for an hour or so in the hope it'll also update the EPG in the background.

I’m getting the same issue not being able to access the programme guide either via MyHumax or the Aura app on my phone - the days started to disappear one by until until today when none are showing. On the MyHumax site, as stated above, clicking on Programme Guide simply takes you to the My Info section. All very frustrating, especially as the guide on my actual Aura is working fine.

That is supposed to be the purpose. There is no mechanism for scheduling a manual recording.

I've just connected my Aura and phone via WiFi and I'm getting a very empty EPG in the app. Nothing in the future and one item per (most) channel(s) at midnight last night. Unable to access the schedule of recordings I know are set. Can see the recordings that have completed. Could be the problem is elsewhere.

If the Aura is like other Humaxes a reminder (effectively a wake-up call) will probably populate the Aura's EPG, a recording might not

I too am having exactly the same problem.
Since last week nothing in the EPG past Saturday so now nothing at all.
EPG fine on box but not the app.
Deleted app and reinstalled but still the same.
Hope it gets fixed soon.

I agree, the question is how long does it normally take them to fix issues?
I'm new to the world of Humax so not familiar with their problem solving!

The Aura update that Humax promised us that would fix some of its issues was over a year ago and we are still waiting for it so do not hold out any hope for a quick fix to your problem and even a prolonged slow fix can not be a certainty. Some people have had other issues with the Aura app since last year and Humax have done nothing to resolve them at all.
