Aura failing to record Channel 5 HD

Of course just let it be noted that once again it was those 2Okay, everyone has had their say, so can we please get back on topic.
's who without any provocation and not for the first time invaded this thread not to contribute anything relevant but purely to throw shade on me, it only escalated due to them and the fact that I refuse to be bullied by the sites geek mafia. If they do not want to be called out for being c***s then they simply need to stop behaving like c***s. Between them they have driven away so many from this site with their abusive belittling and holier than thou responses to people who came here seeking help but failed to have the basic knowledge they demanded of them. Examples of proof litter the forums past threads if anyone thinks they are worth the effort of looking, I certainly do not and this will be the last I say on the matter at least until the next time they do it.

I can't tell for certain because the added CRID list is possibly too long on some (ITV and 4 especially) channels and most of the info is missing on my equipment. Cheap tat - can't fiddle with the picture height.
The [RECO:] [crid://...] seems to be there when there are "Episodes to Watch" ie on-demand suggestions. On BBC it points to a pid familiar to people who have played with get_iplayer. Not sure whether it is current episode or current series pid. I assume a similar meaning applies to other broadcasters. Some - SKY - don't do on-demand and it's null. Other have that digitaluk address which cocks things up for me. Can't be sure that this has anything to do with failure to record. It does not seem obvious that it should. But this is Humax and the Aura so it might another programming screw-up.
I couldn't find a current 5HD programme that has a blank info section or a record that doesn't work, so I can't do any further testing at the moment.

Newsnight has a crid following the RECO
crid://bbc.co.uk/icc/episode/m002y4zz
If you put that into a browser (with or without crid://) you get nothing useful. However if you use the standard bbc.co.uk/programmes/m002y4zz it takes you to the Newsnight home page with links to all available on-demand episodes. Can't be a coincidence. Therefore for BBC the m002y4zz is the series pid in iPlayer. It ought to be a similar construct for other broadcasters.

Yes still the same issues here following the same pattern on 5 and 5HD with 5+1 ok, it is also happening on 5Action now. I have series record set up for X files that now always fails, it shows in schedule but not in the TV guide so without cancelling the series record I have set up single recordings of each episode from the TV guide. The title in the schedule list shows ............
5Action The X-files in 12 hours 7 programmes and the series record symbol but pressing info now lists the 7 shows all with the single recording symbol.
.......... All single recordings have recorded without issue this week and I just left the series record active to see if it ever starts working again.

It seems strange that there are problems showing on some 5 channels on both the Aura and the 5000T. Not necessarily the same problem. (5000T some 5 programmes missing a few minutes from the beginning and no synopsis). I use padding on the Aura. I shall have to see what happens if I try to series link on 5 and 5 Action.

I just looked and tonight's and tomorrows X-Files single recordings are now showing no info in the schedule list whilst next weeks all are showing info. The single recording "R" has also vanished from the TV guide for tonight's but tomorrow's was still showing, next week all show the series record symbol in the TV guide.

In my schedule X-Files is showing 9 programmes. All have info. I can't imagine padding makes the slightest difference to the appearance in the schedule. The only other possible difference, apart from transmitter, is that my Aura has been on and tuned to 250 most of the time. I'm now switching to $ky News and leaving it for a while to see if there are any changes.
Mine still says 7 though I noticed that there are only 6 episodes in the list one of which is tonight's still with no info showing and the single episode booking for tonight's episode that I set earlier today shows as a separate entry in the schedule list with info.

On the FOX T2 remote scheduler tonight's X-File at 23:00 is displayed twice.
For both rows the series crids are the same as each other.
Possibly Channel 5 issued an event update which not all mechanisms have removed the older version.
If I look using the FOX T2's Web Interface my relevant PVR only lists one row for 23:00 tonight.

Yes that is correct. It is not quite the same manifestation of the issue.
It was not supposed to be.Its just a another piece of the puzzle.
