BBC iPlayer Certified Devices

Just got an email from BBC about iPlayer and noticed a link at the bottom saying 'where can i get bbc iplayer?'.
Thought I'd see what it's available on now and was suprised to see the HDR-FOX T2 isn't in the list of certified devices!

Just overlooked? Or is the reason it hasn't been updated ever because it's not certified?

Overlooked.. the BBC supplied the iPlayer software to Humax for inclusion in the Portal.
So in a sense it got updated from nothing to iPlayer lol.

presumably it's not going to get a face lift any time soon, actually didn't Graham North say in that web radio chat the HDR-T2 was going to be getting some portal changes?
Maybe iPlayer will be part of it????

Yes he did, but whether it is just for Twitter & FB or the other lame apps that they currently have on the test portal is to be seen.

I think the BBC are concentrating other devices now as the T2 doesnt have enough horsepower to do anything flashy.
