Between about 7.55 and 8.07 there was a service interruption, the same on West and Wales and the duplicate (London) broadcast on BBC NEWS. There was a report on the cycle race starting in Ireland today, when the video switched the BBC World showing a report about crocodiles and the sound switched a few seconds later. There then followed a report from the PGA tour and some live coverage of the military parade in Moscow.
Just before the end of the interruption there was an inappropriate audio ident over the World soundtrack, and a few moments later the video switched to a BBC Breakfast slide, then back to the Breakfast presenters who said there had been a fire alarm.
