Beta Beta Package Update Behaviour

Black Hole

The auto-update package 2.0.4 (and above) defaults to not automatically updating installed packages to a beta release, even when the user has installed opkg-beta.
Is this definitely what it is supposed to do, and is it working properly?

All my machines have opkg-beta on them, and I have explicitly installed beta WebIF 1.4.5 on only one of them. Another has auto-updated to 1.4.5 (I guess I must have installed a beta WebIF on it before) and the remaining two are still on 1.4.4-10 (which maybe were never sullied with a beta WebIF).

What gives?

Excellent. You're right, for some reason the errant unit had "Automatically update beta packages?" set to "Yes", and I hadn't read my own info carefully enough.
