It would be useful if boot-settings had a means to populate its set-up from the existing settings (where not the default).
YesJust flip/flop between the last used of each?
They seem to go back to the lowest LCN radio service or lowest LCN TV service in the tuned set, although I haven't done any investigation to see what happens if LCNs are removed/re-allocated. Much as after a retune the current channel is set to LCN 1, I don't know what would happen if there were no LCN 1, and I don't know what would happen if there were no service on LCN 700.What happens after a reboot?
I expect it just selects the lowest LCN available in each group.I don't know what would happen if there were no LCN 1, and I don't know what would happen if there were no service on LCN 700.
Or a mod to ir. It could keep a record of the last used service of each group and then intercept the TV/Radio key and substitute its own memory - a dynamic macro you might call it. Needs more thought but might be possible.I guess it could be done with an ir boot macro...
After reading a post on another thread from last year, I'm not sure ff this will help, but for a solution have you tried executing fix-flash-packages yet?Despite my setting my volume at 18 in boot-settings, it keeps reverting to 10.
Even after a total power-off with the back switch.
Any help gratefully received.

It does. That IS its purpose. So boot-settings doesn't override that?
