Can CEC work with Aura, LG Smart TV and Denon AV receiver?

I've just bought an Aura, and want to make it user-friendly using CEC - i.e. powering on/off my TV (LG OLED65C24LA) and AV Receiver (Denon AVR-X2800) whenever I turn the Aura on/off.

I've enabled CEC on all 3 devices, but I can't get both the TV and receiver to turn on/off when I turn the Aura on/off. I've tried connecting the Aura directly to the receiver, and also directly to the TV. Neither works.

Has anyone managed to achieve this with an Aura, LG TV and Denon receiver?

I don’t have a Denon receiver but I connect my AURA to my Samsung Home cinema via HDMI, then HDMI to the ARC HDMI on the TV and it all works seamlessly.

At the end of the night I press the small power button on the remote and everything shuts off.

I only use the AURA remote and pressing the volume turns the Home Cinema volume up/down. I have the remote set to bluetooth, but that only makes a difference to the AURA.

I have ARC/CEC turned on.

Might be better off using macros on a Harmony remote.
