[CFW 2.21] Customised Firmware version 2.21

I have just released customised firmware version 2.21. A minor update that isn't necessary for anyone who is already happily running 2.20. The main change is to help new users who experience problems with installing the initial web interface. If you are on a version prior to 2.20 then I would recommend you update to this one.

2.21 (13.01.2014)

  • Detect the case when the full web interface has failed in some way. In this case, continue to present the initial bootstrap interface to allow another installation attempt. Previous firmware versions displayed a directory listing instead;
  • Switch the address for the package repository to http://hpkg.tv/ rather than http://hummypkg.org.uk/

Maybe not everyone would agree....
but I tend to think that the note about prepare_for_upgrade ought to be above the tables, not at the bottom of the page.
Maybe I am lazy, but I read down, find the versions that I am interested in and then don't read any further
(and then having installed the software think "I am sure there is something else that I need to do" :frantic: ).
 
The note at the bottom of the page is a reminder about what to do if you forgot (or ignored) the messages about prepare for upgrade shown three times further up the page, in the "CFW other" parts of each table, the only place where it is applicable
 
OK, my misunderstanding.
If it only applies to the "CFW other" parts then its position does make sense (I had assumed that it had to be done for all upgrades).
Thanks for the clarification.
