My channel list has started to flash on & off. Is approximately on 1sec off 1sec Any ideas or is the box goosed?

I'd first check it isn't a stuck button on the remote - take the batteries out.
Others will likely be along soon with more sophisticated ideas ...

All above done. I have also pulled the AE; and tried both HDMI & SCART, still no difference

Can't you get control of it at all? Is the channel list like what you get when you press "OK"? Does it still happen with a thick cloth covering the unit?

Some control, however, the channel list pops up again. Yes the same list when you press "OK". Please could you explain what a thick cloth will do.

Block out any rogue infra red sources the box may be receiving.

Whilst I am working my way through 'Black Hole' help, The flashing of the Channel List does not start straight a way. The box can be on for about 10mins before it starts.

That could be a front panel problem.

I have worked my way through Things Every... (click) section 13 there is no problem with the remote. Taking the battery's out with no luck. Steps for Resolving HDR-FOX Crash/Reboot Issues (click) - the it is not rebooting etc. I will work my way through Things Every... (click) again. I have taken on board the bit about the front panel problem.

1. I have done a firmware re-load It was already 1.03.12 However reloaded it. All seams fine now. The problem has not re-appeared and the box has been on and running for 1hr.

Yes with no joy. It was straight forward to do; used a USB stick.

Thank for the help and yes still running stop on. Happy bunny and saved myself buying another box.
