Child protecting future recordings

Is it possible to do this? We sometimes record programs or films not suitable for little eyes but she is as adept at using the box as us. Once a recording is scheduled is it possible to then lock it so access is denied?? I know you can lock them once they have recorded.
 
The Humax has some native protection features which, if enabled, are supposed to lock recordings with guidance against them and I find it works most of the time.
If you use the custom firmware you can installed sweeper and configure it to lock recordings based on patterns.
 
OMG the parental guidance is rubbish wont be even bothering. A gory film like the hills have eyes is unrated yet episodes of Emmerdale are. Really????
 
Yes, the broadcasters don't always get it right! Several episodes of Scooby Do have guidance too.

Custom firmware and the sweeper package may be the best option.
