cifs guide for an Idiot

Hi everyone

Could someone help please? I have installed the customised firmware and cifs and I am trying to mount my NAS to play my VOB's, I have a Drobo with the following share with two directories for Kids and films for adults

//droboshare/drobo1/videos/kids
//droboshare/drobo1/videos/adults

not too tricky, but can I get it to work? Can I ......
