Connecting to Internet (Stock Firmware) What Exactly Will I Get?

This weekend I should be in a position to connect my Foxsat HDR to my home network so it can get onto the internet. What exactly will I gain by this? BBC iPlayer and ITV Player are all I've seen mentioned thus far on the Freesat Information channel.

It appears the main benefits will be with the custom firmware but I'm holding fire on that until I've read up on it a bit more and got to know the device a lot better.

Thanks in advance.

Basically BBC iPlayer and YouTube. No other catch-up services at all.

Update: ignore this. I assumed the Humax TV Portal to the Internet services was similar across the range.
