connection timed out

Though accessing the web ui ok when I first installed the cf it has been nearly impossible this evening
All I'm getting is a connection timed out message.

Sounds like mongoose crashed. Have you installed the auto restart package?

I installed the servemon package but it started timing out again, have just rebooted and initially it timed out, second try it was there

It takes a few minutes after a reboot before the webif will log in. Servermon restarts Mongoose if it fails after the initial login. Leave it about 3 minutes or so after a reboot before trying to login.
