Convert from HD to STD

Hi folks. Just like to first say a huge thanks to everybody who has worked on the custom software. You guys are awesome.

My wife accidentally recorded a couple of episodes of her programme in HD rather than standard. Is there anyway to downgrade the recording from HD to standard?

What is it that you wish to achieve by doing that?

A smaller footprint. 8 episodes are normal. 2 were accidentally recorded as HD.

No, sorry. If it's BBC you could re-grab the iPlayer version (if still available), those files are smaller than StDef.
