Copy recording to usb flash drive

On my older Humax box I can copy a recording to a usb flash drive, but I cannot see anything in the manual for my new box on how to do this. Is it possible?

Do you really have a HB1000S ? It's a single tuner freetime box recording to an external usb drive. However you cannot export recordings on a freetime box.
