Custom Firmware for Humax HDR-7500T

I read and reread this thread and this morning I had a go at updating the channel db as discussed. It took me exactly 30 minutes to populate an empty channel db. I used information I obtained from my 75o0T.

I applied the updated channel db via the hidden menu. A reboot, and yes, I had all 35 channels plus duplicates.

I do have the EPG issue discussed but I can live with that and of course I can't use auto tune...
I will now apply the Channel db to my other UK HDR and HD units.

If you do get one, I can build you a custom update with some basic tools in it - at least you may be able to transplant the tuning database.

I would be vey interested in trying a custom update on my 7500t - it would be nice to run at least some of the tools available for the HDR-FOX-T2.
