That would presumably stop the crawlers with the manual approval required for membership.

I don't know how to do that, or even whether it's something that only @af123 can do, as I don't have full access to all admin features.
 
The forum currently has 18,788 Banned users, and these can still access the forum, but I don't think they can actually do, or see anything apart from various error messages, or blank pages.
 
Total: 7,189 (members: 5, guests: 7,184)


Edit coincidentally Luciusbug from Japan is also back but viewing the 9150T this time.
