Weird behaviour of my HDR1: response to handset appeared to be zero (giving appearance of a freeze), but TV unaffected (continued sound and vision)... and yet WebIF was responding fine. However, eventually I realised it was responding to the handset – just exceedingly slowly (glacial).

Back to normal after a cold reboot.

I'm always perplexed by the slowness of the 2000T to respond to the remote. The TV is just as bad. Press '1' and '0' to get to ITV3. Nothing happens. Press '1' and '0' again and the TV tries to find LCN 101. Wait for the error message and try again. Bring back those sturdy channel change knobs on the old TVs!
