Hi

Can anyone tell me the logic (if any) that is used on which file to retain when a duplicate is identified?

Is it just earliest file stays same, later file gets renamed as duplicate?

Reason for asking is i have lots of duplicates and often some are too short ie program is clipped so ideally the logic would automatically retain the larger file.

As it is i have to go in and compare dupe against original recording length and then manually swap if theres an issue.

Yes, I have had this a few times too - I hadn't thought of that solution but a larger file wins logic is likely to work almost every time.

Yes, that's the current logic.

Usually: series recording children's programmes.
