Default Guide/List to Favourite1?

Now we have the HD channels I have created "Favourite1" with the HD channels in the places of the SD ones, plus BBCHD at the top (an SD ones above that) to make it easier negotiating the guide i.e.

BBC HD
BBC1 HD
BBC2
ITV1 HD
CH4 HD
Channel 5
etc.
etc.

Is there a way to preserve this list when the box is turned off? Currently it defaults back to the normal channel listing when its turned back on. Its not a big issue for me, but I know it will be for my parents when I buy one to replace their 9200

I can't get that in my head without looking at Humax directly, so I will check it out tonight?

I notice that post is in the custom firmware section... is that feature only available if custon firmware is installed?

Nope that's standard stuff - the OP from the quoted thread didn't realise so they were asking if it could be developed - but as we found out there is no need

Indeed, but will need setting up again if there is a retuning event. Installing the custom software will make it easy to back up and restore.

Thank you for the info.

Although I have been used to installing custom firmware & TAPS on my Toppy, I currently don't feel any need to tinker with my Humax as for me it works just great out of the box.
Losing timers/favourite lists at re-tune is not a biggie for me either

Things may change in time....
