I'm running the very latest custom firmware. Following a warning on the WebIF, I've run a full disk scan on the 1TB disk. This has now been running for about 20 hours. About 30 corrupt blocks were initially found. Currently in the "Checking to see if this block is in use" phase with some very slow "Searching for inode..." passes. Seems I have a problem with corruption in file mnt/hd2/Tsr/0.nts which I believe is the live feed buffer.
What's the best thing to do? Can I break out of the checking or should I leave it to check the remaining blocks? Do I just delete the above file as I think it will probably just get recreated at reboot. But if I delete the file, this will free up the corrupt blocks, but will they just get reallocated again or are they actually marked as bad now?
Thanks
