EPG Search for Genre

Hi
Just tried searching for a specific genre using the "Click down arrow below for more options" bit, clicked on Film/Drama and the list starts on 30th May 2014. Should I know of a way to delete some of the EPG history so I don't get a year's worth of Films to pick from?

It is a known problem that sometimes old EPG data is not deleted automatically. The easiest way to clear the EPG is to connect to the HDR-FOX using Telnet, boot into maintenance mode, reconnect using Telnet, run the 'EPG' option and then reboot.

I had a cluster of movie EPG data from October.
Installed PuTTY on my laptop, followed the link above and all's fine now.
