Fixdisk has been running for 3+ hours and I've accepted repairs to probably 3 dozen sectors. It now seems to have stuck. Has it? What do I do now?

Fixdisk can be very Very slow
Be patient and leave overnight if necessary

There is an option you can specify when starting it to reply y to all prompts.

I think you can start it with a switch that lets it get on with it without a user input to repeatedly hit the 'Y' key, but I don't know how to use it.

No. I tried Ctrl + ] from the Putty window but nothing changed. I happened to check access through my browser and was able to cancel it from there.
