Fixed regular crashes by replacing NW ethernet extender

I was getting crashes (segmentation faults and bus errors) very often (often 3 times a day) and intermittently between times the NW would drop. Some crashes resulted in a faster than normal reboot - handy when you're watching something but somewhat concerning that a true re-init hadn't happened. Replaced the Hummy with a cold standby unit but the problems continued. I was using a NW-over-mains pair to access the Hummy from upstairs (just for admin and copying things off/on) and replaced it with a proper hose (when I wired the house I hadn't predicted the requirement of NW access at the TV :-(
I don't have dodgy power (I have a UPS that has voltage monitoring and it logs blue murder if it finds something) so one or other or both of the units must be dodgy. Hummy has run happily for 10 days now
